Several years ago, while fishing a lagoon in an Orinoco tributary.

Several huge peacocks where hunting big needle fish along the shore line.

I managed to cast several times a smaller fly on their way but never got a hit.

So I tied this fly to imitate a larger flashy fish that matched what they were eating at those crazy noisy times.

It’s an easy to cast fly, has a great profile and certainly looks yummy for any jungle fish!
